Here Come the Girls
The scented range have taken me many months of careful selecting, blending and testing different scents using organic essential oils. Waiting the 6 weeks for each small batch of cold process soap to cure before testing. Then not being satisfied and back to the drawing board, readjusting the quantities of essential oils and trying again. Whilst working on the scent I’m building up a picture of the appearance, the colour, the charity, the additional ingredients and the decoration. So it all fits together like a story. Then when I’m satisfied I collate everything together and send it off to a chartered cosmetic chemist for assessment. After a couple of tweaks and a few weeks I get the thumbs up and we’re ready to go.
All I have to do now is make each variation and wait for them to cure. They are limited as they are handmade in small batches but they are here, ready to delight the senses and raring to go.
I have used the same wonderful organic oils and butters as the unscented range. Also kept with the theme of clays for natural colour, fair trade, organic and natural ingredients.
They are wrapped in an organic cotton and bamboo facecloth with the addition of a Vegan badge and a wildflower seeded paper butterfly.
The cute little labels are designed by my nephew Tom Daniels. Tom is a student at The Brit School Croydon.
